Over the years, I have collected some wonderful instruments. 

On this page you can find information as well as pictures of the harpsichords. I am currently working on making sound examples available.

Double-manual harpsichord after Blanchet 1693

This instrument, made by Jan Kalsbeek in 2023, is made after a 17th century french harpsichord. Its compass is GG/AA-d3. The instrument has a disposition of 2x8’ and 1x4’ (lower manual)

Single manual harpsichord after Ruckers

This instrument, made by Jan Kalsbeek in 2004, is made after the building principals of the Ruckers family of harpsichord makers. The compass is FF/GG/AA/HH/CC-c3 with broken short octave.  The instrument has a disposition of 1x8’ + 1x4’  and a divisible buff stop on the 8’ register.
